Kay's Profile

Kay's Ministry began in 2009. Inspired by his mother Kay's loving example, Charlie loaded up his car with bologna sandwiches, picked up his Bible, and headed to the streets of downtown Tampa, Florida. 

Since then, it has grown from one man serving a few to more volunteers ministering to the needs of many every Sunday and more on the last Saturday of every month in Wimauma. Our sole purpose is to bring the Word of God to the less fortunate and to remind them that Jesus has not forgotten any one of them!  

     None of this would be possible without the gracious gifts of time, talent, and treasure from caring volunteers and donors.  100% of all donations made to Kay's Ministry go directly to serving the poor. Thank you!

What We Do:

Our Story

Every Sunday afternoon we meet on the streets of Tampa and the last Saturday of every month we meet on the streets of Wimauma. We share this time with our friends where we:

• read a passage of scripture and explain it
• preach a message of encouragement as to why Christ is so important
  
• share a sandwich, drink, fruit, etc.
• pray individually with people
• give Bibles, Rosaries, etc.
• supply clean clothing, toiletries, sunglasses, reading glasses, etc.
• Finally, we close our day with prayer..
